The garden offers grace and blessing along
the trek from fallow to fruitfulness.
May garden bless the bodies that want labor.
The digging, spading, cultivating, planting, watering,
all the tasks that give exercise to body and
raise the spirit within.
May the observation of first shoots turn
inspire hopes of new life.
May new bud offer expectancy giving
emerging dreams nature's example.
May the blossom foretell the colorful
journey efforts have provided.
And as frost arrives with it's cool breath, may the
pleasure of garden's harvest be stored in the
belonging of memory to warm the days
of winter's rest till nature's call
echoes the song of the prophet,
"See! The winter is past; the rains
are over and gone. Flowers appear on
the earth; the season of singing
has come, the cooing of doves is heard in
our land."

someone's got spring fever!!!! enjoy it! and what i love most about the garden is the peace it transfers through the vision it presents, the scents, the colours, the music of the breeeze and the birds... and the tickle of the blade of grass as you lie on the lawn.
a wonderful blessing as usual Larry. how i do wish Spring would find her way here!
warm smiles,
I'm right there with you Larry. Anxiously awaiting the re-birth of a new season.
