sometimes i think
i'll do this
or that and then
i think if i do it,
why didn't it
get done before
and i feel bad
that i wasn't able
to do it back when
so then i don't
want to try
any more
did that ever happen to you?

All the time, especially when I am having a very difficult day with my RA. But you have to push yourself to get these things done so you can accomplish your goals. Then you will feel free of the guilt. It is hard to do, but necessary in the scheme of things.
K~
I do things and don't finish, that's my problem. :(
Yes I do all the time....makes me crazy!
The image on my blog wasn't wordle...I got it off of google acutally. If I would've thought about the wordle I would have done that instead! I can't wait to try it!
I feel like this, but then I just press on. Or I will, eventually, I promise.
oh my yes. best thing for me then is to just do it without thinking any further...
Good example:I had a broken cup holder in the car that needed to be fixed. It was broken for almost 9 months. Then we were going on a road trip and I realized I should fix it before the road trip. It took me excactly 5 minutes to fix it.
Now why didn't I fix it 9 months ago if it was that easy?????
Hey you said you were down south. You aren't in the path of our good friend(jokingly)Gustav are you?
Hello Larry! Oh yes it has... often enough to tell myself, enough! No looking back, no regrets, no guilt. Just move on!
Yes!
well...and no.
It's usually something that has literally slipped through my very porous memory, so when I remember that I was going to do it, I get a renewed sense of purpose.
Rarely do I not want to try anymore; I have to feel pretty overwhelmed to get to the "what's the point" (Marvin from The Hitchhiker's Guide reference intended!). Fortunately, I have some friends who remind me how to get past that mental roadblock:
How do you eat an elephant?
One spoonful at a time!
Oh, this is cool!
Come see me; I have something for you!
