to bless receiving

May receiving put a twinkle in your eye,
a flush in your cheeks, and a smile on your lips.

May receiving subvert wants, for every gift comes "as is".
May receiving be your free-est moment bearing complete
irresponsibility, requiring no more than presence and
willing acceptance.
May receiving bring surprise,
catching the unguarded heart in the moment.

May receiving bring instant delight to the heart as
the playful spirit of childhood is kindled beneath
the glowing embers of maturity's judgmental ashes.

May receiving perpetuate relationship
through genuine approbation.

May receiving convince the doubting heart that
love prevails in a world gone mad with
greedy taking.
May receiving's pause reflect
on what has been given and how that
demonstrates love's proof.

So may an irrepressible giggle bubble from within,
toes tapping, and hands clapping as a song of
thanks and praise is sung to the giver of life.

Aw I'm honored to be in the collage!
Great words above.
If I head to Huntsville over Christmas I'll let you know! Not sure of all our plans yet.
