I wanted so to spread the flowers at the grave yesterday.
We had 4 dozen roses. The idea is to pull the flowers off the stems and spread the petals on the grave.
Unfortunately, I had put the pinkish ones in the bottom drawer of the fridge, the white ones had been on a higher shelf.
But the pink ones had been in the "meat drawer" and managed to freeze somewhat.
So they were not easily stripped off the stems and strewn over the grave.
Maybe it is not such a terrific example, but I was an adult about it.
We should have just placed them on the grave as is, but I was "serious" and wanted to wait until they thawed a bit to spread them on the grave.
Sooooo... when was the last time you "acted just like a grownup" !!!???
Come on now, be honest ... :)

gosh. i do that 'grown-up' thing all the time. i'm responsible and a bit of a perfectionist after all, heee heee heee.
what this example is of i don't really know... on sunday afternoon, the bean still had some homework to do, 3 'crosswords' type blank things with only 1 word filled in and you had to figure out where to put all the other words given. he, of course, gave up after the 1st one. so i sat and did them, cause he can't take half completed stuff to school. i also did it 'cause i like puzzles and it was fun. plus i reckoned this isn't really work work, so what if i did it and not he. and there's my story.
