Week No. 117

from ... http://curiousasacat.blogspot.com/

1) What is the worst experience you have ever had in a car? when i was about 7 i got car sick reading a book on the way to my grammaws (about a 45 minute drive), i must have been white as a sheet - they gave me some coca-cola to get me over it
- thank God no serious accidentes

2) Who is your personal hero, and why? i have always been a huge fan of Frank Zappa due to his musical genius

3) Name the one thing you have done that has caused you the most guilt during your lifetime. i didn't realize it was going to be a problem when it happened, there was an old barn where we rode our bikes, my buddy and i found some sort of nude magazine, there were men and women wearing nothing but party hats in the pictures, it wasn't extreme porn, but it shook me up a bit at 10 and spurred a desire for more, or maybe it was just a starting point of what could have happened anyhow. am i an addict, i don't think so, but it's been roughly 40 years and that moment still bothers me a bit
- close second, i took some coins from my dad when i was 12, they meant something to him, but not to me, shouldn't a done that one...

4) What is the most important duty or chore you perform regularly? interact with my children, Katie 18, Kelley 15, Slade 11 - 2 daughters and a son

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

this looks like my own dresser, only there should be random receipts, a couple of AA batteries and a small stack of books. but what is that big jar?

Oh, Frank....sigh. I loved him, but I totally didn't 'get' his music, just his humor.

Yes, it's a lilac-scented candle. No worries--I'm not saving purple...what? Wow, it would be weird if it weren't a candle.

Love the 10-year-old story. Kids are kids, and boys are visually and tactile-ly (is that a word?) oriented. :-)

Thanks for playing along.

(Oh, and all my best on what must have been a rather difficult day yesterday...)
