Playing with Food

Yesterday on the way home I ran by the grocer's. They had some lovely pork chops that looked great for the charcoal grill. Do you ever snag something and run home anticipating the meal? They turned out nice. I slathered them down with some bbq sauce, Bullseye to name the brand.
This worked out nice. I also had some steamed squash with onion and a pasta salad. For desert I went for some blueberries and whipped cream in the little cake cups. There was one left over, we set up a PAC-MAN photo-op with that one and the blueberries. Kids of all ages enjoy playing with their food. When is the last time you played with food?

Yum, fresh from the grocer's. Sounds good. I've never tried pork chops on the grill. I'm gonna steal your Bulls Eye "idea."

My kids are too old now...no more playing with food for me. Very creative, you are!

Wow! That was awesome! Ms Pacman! I used to be good friends with her in my early college days. Thanks for dropping by my blog.

you've got it! getting something at the store and making it when you get home is simply the best.

you know, i used to play with food a lot when the bean was younger... you've just reminded me i haven't done so for a while. time to do it again, the bean definately enjoyed it, but so too did the mom!
