energy pulse – beneath goose bumps on skin
will to summon, alit, bursting forth within
total relaxation, minds eye sees seduction
presence transforming – primal reduction
mystery enigmatic – and essence floods through
memory, past, present, future sparks the milieu
overrun senses, neural networks broken
union acquired internal senses token
longing incessant, beyond comprehension
yearning acute – instinctive apprehension
coursing throughout, on tip of finger
safe coexistence yet sinister linger
phantasmagoria - tapestry display
darkness and light – disturbing to say
soaked like a reptile breathe through skin
forced down the throat, baby bird eating in
broken, alas, ripped apart by love’s hunger
soul captivated – all senses are plunder
bring glass or needle – shake out cold sweat
given dominance, but not over yet
lured, enticed, seduced undismayed
through smell, taste, touch - senses delayed
words, only words, describing sensations
muse comes, controls ultimate elations

Oh Larry...I have not danced like that with another poet in a long time...yearning acute, that sums it up so poignantly. I am in awe my dearest, and the words you spilled for me humble me. Thank you for the dance, I hope we do this again sometime...soon.
