Week 134

http://curiousasacat.blogspot.com/2008/09/week-number-134.html

1) What has been the most "sincere" expression of faith you have ever witnessed (I changed this one from insincere to sincere - dad was on my mind)? My dad was in ICU and a friend of his (a preacher) came by to see him. They got to talking about old times (dad led music at revivals). Then dad started singing -

"Got any rivers you think are uncrossable, Got any mountains you can't tunnel through, God specializes in things thought impossible. He does the things others cannot do."

Dad lived about another 6 or 7 weeks. He was serving notice he was ready to go.

2) If you could paint each room in your house a different color, what colors would you paint them? Green - kitchen, Gold - Living area, Sky Blue - Bedroom

3) What is the biggest myth about sex? Men want sex more than women. I think it is just that women have a different approach and it is more emotionally based.

4) Who is the most charming person you’ve ever met? There was a hostess at a national plastics convention, I don't know her name, but she was making announcements in the atrium, she looked right at me and blew my socks off :)

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

No wonder they went out of business, no room under the front porch for a hound dog to get out of the shade.

Well, darn it! I left you a comment and it poofed! Argh!

I loved what you said about your Dad. That was very touching. My Dad was really good at looking at the glass half full instead of it half empty throughout his life. I miss him alot as I am sure you miss your Dad also. Hugs...

Did you know that blue is considered a very calming color? That is why alot of Doctor's Offices are painted a subtle shade of it. Just a little bit of trivia. ;-)

Number three? I will not touch that with a ten foot pole!

The photo: I see a place that was once thriving with tables of produce and Paw asking Maw "how much fer the taters today?"

*blushing* at your declaration. Colors, body art, and a lovely song can create the mood. :))

Lovely ode to your father. My favorite colors; I think you arleady know the answer to that one! :))
And the photo reminds of an abandoned western town in the
1800's.

You certainly could have borrowed my pic--but I like yours just fine. ;-)

Answers are good too, 'specially about the hound dog.

As for Kimmie's comment about blue--that's precisely why I have blues and tans in my bedroom...calm calm calm.
