A blessing By John O'Donohue
from his book "To Bless the Space Between Us"
published by Doubleday 1st Edition
For Solitude
May you recognize in your life the presence,
power, and light of your soul.
May you realize that you are never alone,
that your soul in its brightness and belonging
connects you intimately with the rhythm of the
universe.
May you have respect for your individuality and
difference.
May you realize that the shape of your soul is
unique,
that you have a special destiny here,
that behind the facade of life
there is something beautiful and eternal happening.
May you learn to see your self
with the same delight,
pride, and expectation
with which God sees you in every moment.

Nice photo me thinks too, I love solitude too, its a great feeling but yes id love a nice girl now. i tried the internet dating thing but just thought it was a load of false messeges if you know what i mean. i suppose id be terrified of going on a date out of the blue, maybe i should try again on one of the singles sites.
Feel right good tonight u know, first week over and i feel really comfortable, loads to learn no more boredom, yes its ok at the moment
Good luck driving down that thing.

I am following your blog based on your profile description.. haha.. at least I was at first.
This is a great passage. I have been in conscious awareness of this external greatness behind the scenes.. and it makes my steps a bit easier to take.. and my life that much more enjoyable to live. I appreciate the sounds of the frantic silence that this greater energy brings to my days. Thanks for that! See ya on the next post!
A beautiful and eloquent reminder!
Love the accompanying photo!

I wish I had been able to get over the day you posted this...
I needed it! But it still brings me peace today...
