1) Why do we give people hugs? Support, encouragement, love, friendship, and more.. I think there is entire language of hugs!

2) When have you most shocked yourself? My capacity for sticking my foot in my mouth is exceeded only by my ability to swap feet... (too numerous to mention)...
ex. I once made a joke about "taking the wheels off my rich uncles new home" (implication a mobile home) - two of the three guys I was talking to lived in, you guessed it, mobile homes.

3) Where would you consider constructing a small altar in your house or yard? In a quiet place where solitude is readily accessible.

4) If you could change one thing about your typical day, what would you change? I would say longer more flexible lunch breaks. (up to two hours would be great)

"videoing the first baby arriving at home - has it been 19 plus years already..."

1) What has been the most "sincere" expression of faith you have ever witnessed (I changed this one from insincere to sincere - dad was on my mind)? My dad was in ICU and a friend of his (a preacher) came by to see him. They got to talking about old times (dad led music at revivals). Then dad started singing -

"Got any rivers you think are uncrossable, Got any mountains you can't tunnel through, God specializes in things thought impossible. He does the things others cannot do."

Dad lived about another 6 or 7 weeks. He was serving notice he was ready to go.

2) If you could paint each room in your house a different color, what colors would you paint them? Green - kitchen, Gold - Living area, Sky Blue - Bedroom

3) What is the biggest myth about sex? Men want sex more than women. I think it is just that women have a different approach and it is more emotionally based.

4) Who is the most charming person you’ve ever met? There was a hostess at a national plastics convention, I don't know her name, but she was making announcements in the atrium, she looked right at me and blew my socks off :)

1) What would you change about your workplace? our office needs a window

2) If, for the good of mankind, you could reverse one scientific discovery, what would you choose? I would "reverse" the ability of politicians to take science and convert it to political agenda.

3) What is the dumbest thing people do to make themselves better-looking? overcompensation for any purpose - keep it moderate if you want to enhance your original blessing

4) If you worked with one person with X-ray vision, who would you least like for it to be? me - it just wouldn't do

4) If you had to trade closets with someone you know, whose wardrobe would you like to have? (assume the clothes would magically fit) "this is tough for a guy, my brother, he seems to have it together, someone who wears a lot of sports shirts and permanent press :)"

1) When you walk past mirrors or large windows, what's the first thing you check in your reflection? the big picture - but looking for details, a close shave, none of the recent meal on my chin, shoe strings, the fly, etc

2) When you were ten years old, how did you spend your free time? outside on a bicycle, or in a creek, the woods, playing ball (season dependent)

3) What person in your life defines the word "kindness"? my pastor

4) How does purple (the color) make you feel? it's a favorite, so I feel good about purple
