blessings emote from a wondrous heart, prayerful sacrifice stirs,
blessing each day tangibly, soulful with meaningful words,
may love and spirit come forth, walking together ablaze,
insight of hopeful persistence, guiding the joy of these days,

may spiritual, physical, emotional needs in all people be met,
touched by greater grace, powerfully releasing ourselves, yet,
listening for the still small voice, to guide steps in assurance,
being brought to remembrance, for direction, purpose and endurance.

let the colors of the love all around us, from fall leaves to blue sky,
show through to bring life together, love colors that make the heart cry!

exposes problems of character near
heart of the matter life breaks in
showing thickness of shell, very thin

outward strength exposes inward need
spiritually bound or totally freed
life is formed in the shape of a cup
often poured out, then again filled up

stripping oneself makes for vulnerability
humbled, broken, offered, life's fragility
gifts of blessing, grace related
heart of a servant, constantly cultivated
