To Bless Renewal Awakened

During the strain of the day
when losses two and three
pile up on one another,
may a sweet breeze tossle your hair
to remind you of your natural connections
to sun wind and clay.

When frigid darkness slinks away at dawn
may you sprawl
warmed in a bath of sunlit confidence.

As the season turns the shortened days stretching,
may you stretch the part of yourself
which has lain fallow
into a resurgence of life.

And all the internal space provided
by the "permanent climate of divine kindness"
wells up within
as simplicity, laughter, honesty, love
and thankfulness
apply the life giving oil of healing
to every nook and cranny
of the self that renewal has awakened.

This is so beautiful. A wonderful affirmation in what might have been an otherwise gloomy day. You make me want to share with you some happiness.

God check out: Where the hell is Matt? on youtube. It will make you happy, I think.

I think this is my favorite of yours so far. Thanks for the encouragement.

When you have 10 minutes to spare, take the time to watch the video I posted "Rain". I think you'll like it.
