bold words - A Sonnet

Sonnet for N

Can you hear this o'er life's too noisy din?

Toasting her beauty while cup raises high.

Calls making it right though t'was no goodbye,

Or stretch beneath the stars heartbeat and grin,

Yes, sit awake watching you sleep again
On forehead places kiss and adds a sigh

Shows off, it's you in sweats or skirts to thigh
And pines wishing you with him e'er he's been.

Always want to hold hands with friends or not

Knows pretty isn't what makeup you've got
Reminds you this is one does deeply care
Feels best of luck to relish when they stare
One whose heart has begun a hum and purr

Elicits bold words to all, says "That's her!"

---------------------------------
Someone had challenged me to try a Sonnet
so hear is my first and no nobler topic.

Great sonnet. Like the beginning: "Can you hear this o'er life's too noisy din?" Sets up the theme quite well.
