Contained by the soul lurks inner wisdom hungering for liberation, inspiration desperate for exposure, biographical impulse yearning to deliver into the light of creation delicate invention of imagination.

May your restless urges be invitations to dwell in the largesse of your soul. May you grasp interaction in the physical, and know the limits placed on the munificence of the soul's manifestation.

Hard truth vs Acceptance

How will hard truth come into lives between?

Not knowing when, only that it soon would.
Places, heart's hope, emotion is unseen,
Unkind to speak and give insight that could
Tell all, candor, deceit has been so rude.
Confront stone wall that's built cannot be done,
Though pain is caused by this I now ought run.

Our Hearts are Sore

Our Hearts are Sore

our hearts are sore
individuals expecting more

looking for the greener
only seems meaner

letting things go
risks all makes a show

unwilling to give
fearful to live

I wrote the above as a response to a friends post "reactions" (thanks shadow)
and then promptly read Matthew 18:15-18
which is the ultimate "how to forgive"...
it begins with ""If your brother sins against you..."

and goes on to describe how you should go to them...

I think one of the best things we can do is get the following phrases in our vocabulary and use them often.
"I made a mistake"
"I'm sorry"
"Please forgive me"

This type of talk (spoken from the heart) keeps our relationships working properly.
They are like routine maintenance on a vehicle.
Of course we should never forget our manners,
yet too often, we blame, and sit back and wait for an apology.

What happened to going to the other person and talking it out?

When is the last time you went after forgiveness with the passion it calls for?
